What Is Undead Invasion?

Undead Invasion is a pixel-art side-scrolling zombie survival game that mixes shooting mechanics with tower-defense strategy. You play as a lone survivor defending a ruined orphanage against escalating waves of undead, using firearms, melee weapons, traps, and barricades to hold your ground.

Each day brings tougher zombie hordes with faster, stronger, and more varied enemy types. Death sends you back to the start with no checkpoints — every coin earned and upgrade purchased matters for your next attempt at pushing deeper into the apocalypse.

How to Play Undead Invasion

The core loop follows a day-night survival cycle. During waves, you move left and right to engage zombies with ranged and melee attacks. Keep distance from undead to avoid damage, but use kicks and close-range weapons when they close the gap. Grenades help clear clusters of enemies bunched together.

Between waves, place barricades and traps to slow incoming zombies and buy yourself reaction time. Positioning matters — a well-placed barrier can funnel enemies into kill zones where your weapons are most effective.

Coins earned from kills and completed days fuel upgrades. Spend on stronger weapons, health items, and defensive structures to prepare for increasingly aggressive waves. The game also features a Playground mode where you can experiment freely with traps, weapons, and layouts without the pressure of permadeath.

Survival Strategy

Barricade placement is everything — funnel zombies into narrow lanes where your weapons deal maximum damage.
Save grenades for clusters — single zombies are manageable with regular weapons, but grouped hordes demand area damage.
Upgrade weapons before health — killing zombies faster reduces incoming damage more effectively than extra hit points.
Use Playground mode to test layouts — experiment with trap and barricade positions risk-free before committing resources in the main mode.
